Interactive Whiteboard Tools

What if you are lucky enough to have a Smartboard and have (possibly) been using Smart Exchange but you’re looking for other virtual manipulatives to use in the classroom?  Look no further, you can surely find suitable applets at one of the following sites!

I’ve included Smart Exchange, just in case you wanted to check it out or have it here along with all the rest, however keep in mind that you won’t be able to download the resources unless you have a login, password and activation key from owning a Smartboard.

  1. National Library of Virtual Manipulatives
  2. More online manipulatives
  3. Interactivate Lessons
  4. Visual Fractions
  5. Number Sense Computations
  6. Illuminations tools
  7. Centicubes
  8. Virtual Pinboard
  9. Online stopwatch
  10. Smart Exchange Math Manipulatives
  11. Using a protractor
  1. Great blog! I have already shared the Centicubes file from the Interactive Whiteboard activities with teachers.

  2. Thank you Helen for sharing your math resources. I would like to share a virtual math website from McGraw- Hill. It can be found at glencoe.com.
